On Feb 14 at the Ah-kim-pech Forum of the city of Campeche in Mexico, the kings of the carnival 2012, Karlita Peon and Ricardo Baqueiro, were crowned. Over 20,000 spectators gathered to witness this ceremony which ended with the fantastic live concert of CAMILA. This event was hosted by Gaby Borges (Best known as Laurita in the Soap Opera Eva Luna) and Gabriel Cuevas, creating an exciting and fun evening for the audience.
El 14 de Febrero en el foro Ah-kim-pech de la ciudad de Campeche-Mexico, los reyes del carnaval 2012 Karlita Peon y Ricardo Baqueiro fueron coronados. Mas de 20,000 espectadores se reunieron para presenciar dicha coronacion la cual finalizo con el concierto en vivo del fantastico grupo CAMILA. Dicho evento fue conducido por Gaby Borges (Mejor conocida como Laurita en la Telenovela Eva Luna) y Gabriel Cuevas, creando una emocionante y divertida velada para toda la audiencia

MIAMI, Florida (6 de septiembre de 2011). La joven cantante y actriz Gaby Borges, mejor conocida por su rol en la telenovela “Eva Luna”, estrena hoy en iTunes y demás portales de ventas de música digital, “Ave María” para complacer a los miles de seguidores que le han pedido que lance la canción comercialmente desde que vieron su interpretación de “Ave María” en el capítulo final de la telenovela.
En el mes de junio, la artista de 12 años de edad firmó un contrato discográfico con el exitoso sello independiente Top Stop Music. Aunque el plan es lanzar a la jovencita como cantante de pop, la demanda popular por escucharla cantar música tradicional e inspiracional ha sido tal que Gaby y su disquera decidieron grabar su álbum debut justamente con esta música.
“Gaby nació para ser artista. Su talento como cantante, actriz y bailarina es impresionante a tan corta edad y estamos muy entusiasmados de trabajar con ella para seguir desarrollando su carrera,” expresó el reconocido productor Sergio George, presidente de Top Stop Music.
A su corta edad, Gabriela Borges ya ha ganado competencias de baile internacionales, ha formado parte del equipo juvenil de baile del Miami Heat y de los Miami Marlins y fue integrante del grupo musical B-Kids con el cual se presentó en los programas más importantes de EEUU y América Latina. A los 10 años Gabriela se convirtió en la protagonista juvenil de la novela de Univision “Eva Luna” ganándose el corazón de los televidentes.
